Reviving this old thread.... work has finally begun getting the 8 speed in. I changed direction on the flywheel from the QuickTime -947 to a kit from JVX Racing in Tenn. He has a full installation kit to make the easy (he also sells the kit and adapter for a big block). Tunnel was cut and raised some. A custom cross member was made and the 8 speed mount used.
