Flat drive torque converter rebuild advise.

Use a 999 lock up converter. Some 998s had them as well. Or a torque converter shop can change the hub. Kim
To change the hub on the converter, the converter must be cut apart. While it's apart, why not get it rebuilt or as it has been mentioned to you, contact PTC. Converters are a sealed unit, so while they may look good externally, there is no way to know the condition of it inside. Items like the sprag may be on it's last leg, and if it's a lockup converter the lockup lining could be contaminated. Spend your $$$$ wisely.
