I've used a lot of them. I've not seen what the complaints are about. They all worked well for me. But then I understand that these type gauges are only an approximation. They are there to only give an idea of something. The most important thing is that they are accurate when reading empty. I think most guys that complain about sending units are sometimes being picky. They were never made to be dead accurate. It's not like they can be compared to modern gauges. But all the Spectra units I've used have been pretty spot on.
