The ohms will be 10 to 70 but the sweep needs to follow a curve not be linear.
Case in point, if at 1/2 tank, (not the sweep arm being 1/2 way in its travel) the sender reads about 23 ohms your better off, but it will read around 40 so it will look like 3/4.
