Where was it for 44 years? Or when was it last on the road and what prompted you to get it restored after all these years?
I drove it off and on through 1988. From then on it just sat at several body shops until the fourh one did quite a bit of work and it was the fifth one that got the paint and body work done in eight months. I always wanted a muscle car. I came across this one a fellow technician was going to fix up for his wife. He found a 1972 Challenger Rallye a little later and put the Demon 340 up for sale. I paid $250.00 for it. It was in very bad shape as you can see in the pictures. I wanted to save it before someone would yank the engine out and scrap the body. And now after all these years, it will be getting the respect it always deserved. Thank you H22A4.
