It will take a bit of parts and work. I am also not sure what it would take to put it in an early A. I did it back in the 70's but can't remember what I did. It looks like you would get the right bell housing but double check the casting number before you buy. The O/D 26 spline main shaft and tail housing will get you easily and relatively cheaply into a early A body. But I am not sure about the clutch fork and linkage in an Early A with the newer bell housing.
