Nope. Te large hole is a GM thing. THey used a bushing for their throttle rod. Your kickdown is all wrong. It should look something like this. I can't guarantee these photos are correct. The pivot in the back goes on the post on the throttle bracket. THat transfers the horizontal movement to vertical that goes down behind the cylinder head.
