Your first mopar...?
Wow. What a great bunch of stories. Mine was a 68 Plymouth GTX bought out of Auto Trader in 78 while a Sr. in HS. I was raised in a Chevy family, but for whatever reason when I saw the crappy b&w pic in AT I HAD to have it! A Mopar guy ever since. Sold it to a friend a few years later who promptly stripped the interior, and put a six-pack on it to drag race until he sold it to a a guy who tubbed it repainted it red/white/blue and won two National Championships in it bracket racing. I saw it after years of bracket racing and it was too modified to bring it back to the street car that it should have always been. I got mad at my friend even back then when he welded in a roll bar, etc. He admits now what a terrible mistake it was by using a nice, mostly original GTX to convert to a race car.
