Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Every engine has a cam (at least in the realm of stuff we’re interested in) and upgrading a cam during an engine rebuild is common. The lunati “cam kit” he ordered and installed is a cam and lifter set (you don’t reuse lifters on new cams so they sell em as kits) and is a well know street grind cam from a reputable company. It’ll sound good, make good usable power, and not be so rowdy that it’ll eat valve springs or require a ton of maintenance.
That’s awesome! Nobody that I know has been able to really explain it to me. I’m a home builder and have a passion for cars, but I don’t know much about engines etc. That was very very helpful! Thanks :)
