Brodix B1-BS Aluminium Heads ?

The B1/BS head should net roughly a 30-40lb weight savings. I think these are a very good head that is underrated by magazines and others. I also like the small combustion chambers, 65 cc on a big block will yield a good gain in compression. The 915, depending on how much they are milled are roughly 76 cc's. Horsepower gains are hard to guess, 40 horse? It all depends on how well your 915's were ported and if the B1's are ported. I'll guess approximately a 2-3 tenths improvement. If you have domed pistons be sure to check piston to head clearance, with this small a chamber this should be done. I'm glad someone is doing this swap, I wish you the best of luck.
