Yeah, but on the street if someone follows you home, you have the option of shooting them LOL, but as far as the internet goes, you don't know who they are , what they look like, or when they are going to strike.
It could be a years from the time they figure out where you live.

It's just a comfortable mix of paranoia and preparedness.

I think we all get too complacent at times.
