Super Stock Springs - Let's see em'?

I have 275/60/15 on my cuda in which they are 28" in diameter. I have a little over a 1/2" right there in the picture. The axle could go back towards the rear of the car would help out a lot.

I was thinking of somehow moving the rear end back 1" in order to center the wheel up in the fender well. I pretty much got it figured out but the only concern I have is yoke coming out of the transmission will move out of the transmission 1" without lengthening the drive shaft. I could have it lengthen but I'm not sure if it would really hurt anything.

Anybody got any opinions?
