Post your 12 second small block combos

Cool, keep them coming guys.

Also should have asked how high you revved it? Anyone run their 'street' car (read- no trailer) over 6,500?

haven raced my duster on the track but it has always been a real streetcar, streetdriven many many many miles everyyear lots of cruising and rock n roll and so on so i dont have any timeslips on it..

my first version of the 340 with stock rods and old heavy TRW dome pistons was shifted at 7500rpms all the time and never failed, except for one time when the inputshaft in the transmission snaped when shifting into 3rd and i saw the tach sweep up to 8000+ before i got my foot out of it that one just cost me a pushrod and inputshaft in the 904 transmission

later on i changed to a smaller solid roller cam, edelbrock rpm heads and eagle H beam rods, and have continued to shift the thing betwen 7-7500rpms for a few more years until some sad stuff happend to two bores wish have cost me alot of money because i decided a twinscrew would be nice, but im planing on letting the newbuilt blown 340 scream at 7000+rpm alot also im not worried about my shortstroke 340 not being able to withstand that kind of rpm since i know it likes it
