1968 Plymouth Valiant, steel body, glass hood and trunk, cut doors and inner fenders, Lexan all round .. car weighs 2481 lbs + I weigh 150 lbs
Standard 340 + 030 flat top pistons. Comp Cams fast road cam ( can`t remember spec ). 114 leaded race gas. MSD 6 al plus MSD leads and dizzy. Hedmann tight block untuned headers. 10 psi fuel pressure upto fuel line cooler. Standard heads with new valve springs.
Edelbrock torquer 2 intake with Holley 670 cfm 4 bbl and Summit 4 barrel stack air filter.
Ford 9" rear end with Summitt ( rebranded Richmond ) 411 ring and pinion. adjustable rear Competition Engineering shocks, Calvert racing caltracs, Comp Engineering drag shocks on front.
45 psi front tires + 10 psi rear tires
This set up was probably only 250 - 300 hp but I have concentrated on traction / gearing / driveability / weight loss to get the numbers.
