chemical burns

Sorry to hear that ya got burned but I'm pretty sure I know what you're dealing with. I know it's to late but I'd be surprised if the OSHA laws in your state don't demand that the employer have an emergency shower on site, for incidents just like this, and next time they ask you to clean out the mud tanks, before you do, demand to see the W.H.I.M.I.S documentation on the mud. In it will list the chemicals in the mud and lets say they are caustic it will say what to use to clean off skin like maybe baking soda. If your employer does not have the WHIMIS documents on site for this crap and others like it, he and all his management team could be heavily fined and if they have a history it's jail time. Also I trust you've put in a Workers Comp. accident report. Remember to protect your ***, knowbody else will.
By the way I worked in the oil and gas facilities all over North America for over 30 years and hearing about incidents like this and others, especially gasings (H2S) sets me off.:angry7::angry7::angry7:

One last thing, if you've got a doctor you normally see go see him as soon as you can and Get well soon.
