Had ancho chillis in it, had to stem/seed them, soak them in hot water then into the blender with a bunch of other ingredients for the shrimp marinade

I made shrimp and avocado tostadas last night, bit of work but they tasted good.

My U.S. flag was getting a bit tattered, don't like that so ordered and put up a new one today. Seahawks flag getting kind worn out too, that one can wait.

Son texted from the local state park, he's camping out there w/girlfriend, invited us to come sit around the campfire with them, they are coming over tomorrow to take us out for dinner for birthday/Mothers Day. Wife's off at 4:30 so I'm cooking and trying to get as much done ahead of time...

Time to run into town, picking up new letters for mailbox, fuel and a couple things for the wife. Today weather's good so outside stuff, tomorrow rain and shop time!

Local Farmers Supply store, they also sell non-ethanol fuel, can't find any of that over 87 Octane here on the island but at least it doesn't gum up my small engine stuff

Taking both 5 gallon fuel containers into town for fill, one will be red dyed diesel, other non-ethanol so one "cheaper" one not so much. Have 14 yards of gravel for driveway and need some for roto-tiller and weed whacker

Seems like fuel cost increases would help justify it
