Alignment change after changing from drum to disc

Since the lower ball joint and spindles are different drum to disk it stand to reason they would be different. I wonder if the wider track of the disks adds to this???

    Cragar SS lug nut trouble

You cannot use conical lug nits on those wheels, as previously mentioned. The reason is, a conical lug nut must have a conical seat the same angle in order to lock down properly when torqued. Those wheels have a totally flat seat, made to fit a flat washer like what is used on the correct...

Looking for previous owner of this 1968 Barracuda Convertible

You know that the VIN isn't on the fender tag on '68s? To match the tag you'll need your shipping order number. This can be found on the radiator support or in the weatherstrip area of the trunk. Nice car!

    360 vs 383

I agree 100%. But by the same token, I can put a complete aluminum top end on a 383 as well. So where are we then? Sure, you can say you can run aluminum parts on a small block and be lighter and you're right.....but what does that do to the OLD and WRONG opinion that a big block in an A body...

    318 with a new 4” crankshaft.

I’d stay away from the eagle crankshaft. Get a hold of prostock tom on this site. He sells molnar assemblies, way better quality components than eagle. Stamped steel stock rockers are not going to hold up to that high a lift of cam.

    360 vs 383

We weren't, really. I was just trying to make the point that weight savings mods make more sense on a lighter car. I'm not gonna put a set of aluminum heads on a 318 Imperial to save weight.

EFI considerations for a 1970 383 with very mid cam

The MSD 6AL will work fine with a Sniper and so will the coil that you are using. The MSD distributor won't work so send it to the swap meet and budget for a Hyperspark distributor.

I talked to Paul for almost 2 hours last week with turbo action What a nice guy, he told me my cam is way to small (which it is by 10-12 degrees) but wants me to run a 5400 stall. That's with a peak torque of 4900 and peak horsepower at 5850. I've heard from most people that 400-500 over peak...

    360 vs 383

When I look under the hood of a b-body, I expect to see a big block, if I see a small block, I'm disappointed. When I look under the hood of an A Body, I'm hoping to see a big block, if I see a small block, it's expected.
  25. 33IMP

    360 vs 383

That kinda depends on the platform, imo. Saving 100 lbs on a 4800 lb C-body, big deal. Saving 100 lbs on a 2500 lb bracket car (or street car, if you can get to that weight), BIG deal!
