That's OK. It looks the same as the coil that's in there and I got curious once you said it was a good price. I don't want to cook the computer though because it also acts in place of the ballast resistor. Magic 80s voodoo! I'm not putting serious money into it. That engine won't be in there...

You not talking lean burn right? Look in the top of your coil and where the spark plug wire goes is it like a post in it with a slot? If so that coil will not work without changing the end I believe. Hard to tell without seeing it from the top. The FSM should have the part number in it in...

Actually I think the tower connector is different. The older ones use a "male" coil wire end the 79 up uses a female style kind of like a Hei term inside the tower itself. . I have the later ones nos if needed about the same price.

Thinking of switching from M1 single plane to LD340 but LD340 would need to be milled to fit. Is it worth it?

Dual plane not needed! Keep the M-1. I run a Victor 340 intake. Does better than the airgap I had before. Don't miss airgap @ all!!

HEI Conversion Question and Holley 2280 Lingering Issue

As I said.....keep the p/up wires separate from the coil neg wire & HT leads. If you look at the MSD 6 box [ & others ], the p/up wires exit the box on their own...& at the other end of the box from where the coil wires exit. They did that for a reason..... Similarly, on modules such as HEI &...

Pls recommend source for full AC system for non-AC 1971 5.2 L Duster

I would use Classic Air again, but beware - they market this like it is all scienced out and all the problems are solved. This is absolutely not true - a "perfect fit kit" it is not. If you are reasonably skilled hot rodder who can do some light fabrication you can install the kit and address...
