Painting steel rims and baking the paint.

You can use metal prep on the rims before you paint them. This will help with the paint adhesion. Heating them will only dry the paint faster. 65'

CNC Mill Mark Removal in Intake Port

Imo, the “correct” way to evaluate changes to the intake port surface finish is on the dyno, not the flow bench. And I don’t work on anything where doing that kind of R&D is cost effective. I’ve seen what I felt were pretty impressive results from smooth, and rough, and cnc finished ports. I...

Pretty sure all that would do is speed up the dry time and probably get you in trouble with the Wife. (ask me how I know)

Painting steel rims and baking the paint.

I have some rims that have been sand blasted and want to keep them from getting rusty on the inside as well as the outside, Ideas on if I used a high heat say like engine paint and then put them in an oven and heated them for a while, would that make the paint work/last better? Thanks!

    Enlarging PRP doesn't always help

I would like to think so, and hope that is true! i myself have done so just from inspiration acquired on this site (unfortunately too old), but I can't help thinking they will be using a soldering gun, a laptop, and discussing Ohm's law as opposed to Bernoulli's principles:(

17” American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels

No rubbing on the front wheels I should've stated. On rears, the backspacing on the 17x9 is 5 in. And since I currently have an 8.25 axle I needed to utilize spacers as the wheels/tires definitely would've rubbed on the leaf springs.
