    won't start....

I don't know what year/car; I had A&A build it for me. I pulled the NSS yesterday, it looks like the one for the push button, so wrong NSS. The snout is too short to touch the contact on the comb. Anyone need that one, it's NOS?

    Strange Parts?

I figured the original post would start with, "I met this chick at the bar, and she has a very seductive, smoky voice, but when we got back to her place...."

No, headaches were fixed with a mild blood pressure med. Hypertension seemed to be causing them. This appt is for stenosis in C2-5. Makes my shoulders and elbows hurt and hands numb. I drop stuff alot too. No strength in hands, fingers go numb when it flares up

    Torco and AFR

Yes, idle was 12.5-13 now 11.5-12 in gear. Low speed cruise is similar.

Here you go Fred. Threw the lowering blocks in this AM quick before I leave for my appointment. I like it better, less rake and should reduce the front area by almost 1/2 a foot.

    Oil Light comes on.

Guys, you need to re-read the OP. His light is coming on with the key off and removed. This is an electrical issue, not an oil pressure issue.

    What's this for?

I am currently replacing the gauge cluster in the Duster I brought home last year, nothing worked, with an autometer set, and sae this relay(?) with nothing connected, what's it for? I've never seen a 2 prong/connector relay before, but that's what it looks like. Thanks

    Lifter failure

In the mid-2000's I had found a document from Mobil 1 with all the additive packages for their various oils listed out by product line. There was one that had INSANE amounts of ZDDP and that's what I ran when I stabbed a Comp Cam in my 360. I did the startup lube and all that junk. I cranked on...

    Random Thermoquad Carb

I didn't even know about the two choke horn screws. I removed eight screws so far. Very glad I asked you guys. Those 8 were a huge pain to get off, they were very stuck. I hope the last two in the choke horn aren't absolutely seized. Thanks everyone!

    Lifter failure

What? I never heard of this? Where does one get this done? Oh...that's where! Sounds like you have a huge opportunity here... I decided roller cams forever, but I worry like a **** about all my old Jap motorcycle engines (well, the 4-strokes anyways) that have shim-over-bucket systems.

    Lifter failure

You would be shocked at the amount of people with FT cams run regular conventional or synthetic oil after a correct break in and wonder why their cam turned into a broomstick. Have a buddy flatten two cams on a chebbie 350 that way, and absolutely will not believe its the oil he was using.

    Erratic gauges

I run a separate volt meter and oil gauge. The voltage never moves......runs just under 14 all the time. Also checked at the battery....13.9 consistent. Everything else runs normaly......just the gauge movement. Leaning toward IVR.

    Power steering pump question

These braces are 2wd pieces, although guys have modified to fit the 4wd W series 1st gens. The 4wd braces is a much smaller mount that spaced the gear box out on frame.

[FOR SALE] NOS Mopar W8 magnesium Valve covers

Super cool. They look like they could stand to be re-chromated to bring the black back. Also the best way to protect the coating on Mag is to use WD-40

Differential leak fixed. When I upgraded the track bar the other day, I took off the no longer needed aftermarket diff bracket. Didn’t think about the fact the bracket had supplied longer diff cover bolts so the top of the cover wasn’t tight. Still had fluid in it luckily so think I’m good...

    Torco and AFR

I added one quart of Torco fuel additive to approx 12 gallons of 91 California E10 swill. Without making any other changes or adjustments I’ve noticed my AFR’s down about 1-1.5 points at idle and at low speed cruise (still in the transition I’m sure). Is this a condition of a higher octane...
