I thought this polyurethane mount was going to work out, but nooooooo Even after removing the "preload" plate from the top, it sits too high after weight is on it and the bolts are tightened. I bolted the torque strap down so its very pre-loaded. It works but I'm not happy with it.

    273 advise needed

Yes, I had to have the secondary bores in the intake machined larger and I bought a cheap air cleaner just for the base so I could use the OEM Charger 273 air cleaner.

    Wheel Base Question

Door lock positions changed in '69. Door side impact beams appeared somewhere around '73 or '74. Barracudas aren't even close to Darts/Dusters/Valiants. Not to mention the vent windows... too many variances to get into here. Suffice it to say the doors are NOT all the same.

    273 advise needed

LOL, There is no intelligence in AI. the 3858s AFB is for a 1965, 413 cu in big block, in a C-Body. Not even close for a 273. You should be able to get it running if it is in decent shape though. It is jetted too rich and has no velocity valve in the secondary. Additionally the correct AFB...

    Ailing engine (Updated after teardown)

I just heard back from FiTech. They hooked up the ECU to the testing equipment and it failed and needs to be replaced. Now the good news, they approved it as a warranty item and a new one is already on it's way to me. Should be here next week. Jack

Wow, that's a cool thing. Keep us posted. They know what goes where. I have a bulged disk with "moderate" issues on L4-L5. No wonder why I have leg/walking/standing issues.

    Steering coupler question

I just found a thread from 2009. That explains it fairly well. My column when I took it out didn’t have the small dowel pin that I could find either. Of course when I pulled it out everything went apart. My next question is when you put it all back together, do you need to pack the box with...

So, nerospine surgeon said my issues likely stem from C2-8. I have 2 bulged discs below there. He is ordering an EMG. Apparently they can identify the individual nerves causing issues so they can find the orientation and root cause.
