    Sanden A/C Compressor to fit a 273

If you have U pull junk yards you could look for an 80's 5th Ave. That will have a sanden bracket for a 318, which will work. A small block truck is a possible option, too. Up until 91 I think.

    Bose speaker usage question

That shoudn't be a problem. The problem is the other way. Using 4 ohm speakers with an 8 ohm amp can blow the amp. 8 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp just reduces the power level that the speaker "sees". It will basically sound about half as loud.

Agree. We just got a reduction in cost. SPCA now has a $45 program, but prior to that, the cheapest was $75, and that was a brand new Humane Society program. Any place else here is over $100. If "the dog catcher" was on board and we could have local, county, or even state funded programs, I...

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

Those 6.5's have impressive specs- handles up to 30 watts RMS (300 watts peak power) impedance: 4 ohms frequency response: 40-22,000 Hz sensitivity: 90 dB Hard to find 40 Hz response in something that small. However, the magnet looks tiny. I've found "sound guy's intuition" judging of...

We got hit with "kitten season" yesterday. Friend calld to say they bought a house (they're flippers) that had squatters who left 12 cats- 3 mothers and 9 kittens. ...and the person we adopted Ninja to called and said someone left 2 tiny black kittens on her porch. I wish government agencies...

Look at pictures with dots on strings. Put fingers where dots are. Curse if necessary, depending on chord complexity and muscle tone. Repeat. Try to change chord, move, slide, etc. Repeat cursing if necessary. Shake cramp out of hand if necessary.

If you look at the other offerings for 1949, the ford is WAY more advanced. Kind of like the 57 Mopars vs the others.

    Bose speaker usage question

Generally, the "rule of thumb" is: 8 ohm speakers will need about twice as much power from a 4 ohm head unit to sound as loud as if they were driven by a 8 ohm head unit. I ran JBL 8 ohm 8" driver home speakers rated for 50 watts with a 100 amp car audio amplifier. They sounded great...

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

Your 6.5's will likley "roll off" at a certain freq, so a filter may not be necessary at all*. What does the crossover control say? If the 6.5's will do 60 Hz, then technically setting the sub crossover at 60 would be "correct", however, your ears will tell you what sounds good. You really...

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

So... "Phase" Flips the phase of the speaker. That can compensate for that speaker being a lot farther away than the others. Flip it and see if it helps. Crossover is liakely the pass frequency of what goes to the sub. Anything below "X" to the sub, anything above to the regular spealers.

How Do I Adjust A Subwoofer For Best Sound?

Does the sub have it's own amp built in? Does it have inputs from the speakers and outputs back to the speakers... ...or does it work from 2 of the 4 channels from the head unit?

At least tape it to the door top window "post" on both doors, and get in either "Dukes style" or from the pass side. I can guarantee the tape will hold, that way.

You have about 7.5 feet of room, diagonally from the pass side A pillar on the dash, to the rear on the driver side. A 10 ft pipe would hang out 2.5' but less than about 18" at that angle. ...plus he has a passenger to hang on to the pipe to keep it from sliding out.
