    Z Bar

...which I have ever seen. As others have said; The Z-bar, in front view needs to be about parallel to the ground, and in Top view needs to be at 90* to the centerline of the car, and properly anchored on the bushings at the frame end. There are more than one Bellhouse and matching pivots and...

    Stock Market

I doubled down after it lost ~15% thinking I’d break even if it went up 8. Better yet it went back over my purchase spot by half a percent! I left AMD well on the plus side. This is fer fun remember. 22 shares all told. Folks give more away at casinos and lotto me thinks. Now what to play...

I Need Engine Experts! 340 Roller Lifter and Pushrod Issue

Correct me if I'm wrong Hawk, but 1.6 rockers would move the pushrod cup closer to the rocker shaft and improve the pushrod angle at least marginally. It might even improve the pushrod clearance in the head.

My suggestion is to have a little vibration and some loose panels in your floor so it’s loud as hell. That makes it feel like you are going faster. I would go into it deeper but I don’t want to derail bills post.

i've had two 79 LRE trucks over the years. both very original/ no air pumps.. they did have some kind of air pipe to the rear of the passenger exhaust manifold.. i forget where it hooked up to though... as far as the cats go.. they are over 40 years old. probably shot any way..

    Transmission cooler for drag racing

I run a Derale trans cooler in the avatar. 8" converter that stalls at 5000 rpm. At the track, it leaves the line at about 160F and hits 180F at the end of the track (1/4 mile). This Derale unit has its own electric fan so I flip it on after I cross the line. Trans is back to 160F by the...

I Need Engine Experts! 340 Roller Lifter and Pushrod Issue

First.Forget hydraulic rollers. Second, get the lifter bores bashed. You may hear different bit been there done that. Third, get ahold of BAMM Solid roller lifters. Smith Bros will handle your pushrods. THEN ABSOLUTELY call Mike at B3 racing.. Pay the piper once and you'll never go back.

Old new guy, or is it new old guy?

Hi All, I've been a member at For E-Bodies Only for quite a while since that's what I have. I've been to FABO many times and found tons of good info here. The family racing stable recently got a new addition - my son's 1973 Dart Sport drag car with full cage, frame ties, fiberglass front end...
