My uncle took my cousin and me to the old Irwindale, in his 65 mustang, in about 1967 or 68. I made my first pass there too, in a stock Vega, in 1971, nineteen something e.t. That Vega ended up a twelve second car, as did my 57 chevy. Twelves now are a complete yawn.

Just watched a video that my bother in law made when he went to Lebanon Valley Raceway with me Memorial Day Weekend of last year. Where did the IT guy go? He probably ransomeware. Knowledge is power, and power corrupts. So study hard and be evil. Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician. Isn’t it scary that doctors call what they do “practice”? It’s not that I’m afraid to die, I just...

My 1953 B Series I spent over 2 straight years on. It is a factory 9 foot bed truck that came with a flathead 6 with a 3 speed shifter on the floor with a handbrake lever for the parling brake. It now has a 318 under the hood with a little over 25K miles on it since it hit the street in late 2019 .

It’s definitely not cheap. Luckily the place the kids shoot at covers the cost of their clays and doesn’t charge them to practice. They will also let them use a rental gun at no cost. They just needs to purchase shells or reload if they choose.
