I recently bought some KYB shocks for the rear of my Barracuda. The gas charge was so great that I couldn’t get even close to compressing them by hand. It looks like they bumped up my ride height about an inch or something like that. They might be just what you want.

    How did I do

Great starting point at a great price. Hard part is going to be finding all the trim including grill assembly and rear tail light assemblies if you don't have them. Also, the rallye gauge panel with the tach is rare. This stuff is extremely pricy .

I just replaced my KYB Gas Adjust shocks. They were sufficient for a cruiser but I wanted a high performance shock son I put some Hotchkis Fox shocks on. I will be upgrading the factory sway bar and getting new leafs when I do my 8-3/4 soon. Here’s my take on shocks after having used all of...

naw.. just a street beater, was thinking of just like 1-1.5" more lift but i think i'm gonna look at modifying the wheel wells first, would like to keep the stance.. The spot that might hit the tire is a soft rolled area so no chance of cutting a tire but rather not have them hit at all...

What are you trying to do? Mopar leaf springs should be nearly flat when static for most uses. For drag race launch, there should be some arch. Longer shackels can be used to get a little more swing (unfortunately also allows more sideway but not an issue for straight runs) as long as they...

    Lca rubber bush that fit

I did bushing first then a stack of washers to keep the inner sleeve from being pushed out ,then the pin. I would imagine you could put the pin in the bushing first but then you'd need a tall tube/pipe and a proper sized washer with some strength, to go around the pin so you can press on the...

Last year I tapped the Grand? Wagoneer's oil drain to 14mm x 1.25 Yesterday wasted a ridiculous amount of time looking for a drain plug gasket / gasket. Most of what is available is mix packs...And I don't want soft metal washers that aren't soft. Going to give these a try. Oddly they only...

Soo... just curious.. now that my springs are installed properly and have settled i have like 1-1.5" of space between the tire and the outside inner wheel wells, it looks great with the tires tucked in but i don't feel like bouncing off them over bumps. So.. my front spring mounts do have a...

Spring loaded shocks for the back is like putting lipstick on a pig. Will it work- yes. But not for the long haul. New springs are needed. They wear out even just sitting there. Bushings, wearplates, and height. As for shocks- name brand and new are best. eBay shocks- not so much. lol!

Superbee just being a trim level of a Coronet. Could be either, wouldn't know without the VIN. Otherwise the same car. 100% it is a 69 Dodge Coronet as a base, could be a upper trim level though.
