Haha hopefully, i just got the valve cover off then the bottom fell out of the sky so im sitn in the car waiting on the rain to let up. But i shouldnt have to go in and set the timing gears again as long as i get the distributor set to tdc right?

Well its that time, im saving up to get me a new set of aluminum heads rather than spend loads on getting a ton of work done to my 906's. Iv herd a lot of posative chatter about the eddie performer RPMs, but i found some on 440 source "stealth heads" and was curiouse as to weather or not anyone...

I just went in yesterday to align my timing gears at tdc and spun my distributor 180 to fix my advamced timing problem and now it wont crank? Turns over but just doesnt even try to fire off... im frustrated right now so maybe im missing something. Any ideas?..

So whoever painted my Duster before i bought it didnt tape off the tail lights and sprayed grey primer all over the edges and lightly in the middle. Anybody know of a good way to get that off without damaging the tail light, id like to keep it intact if possible..

So i got a new timing gear set for my 440 build and i havnt gotn in to change it yet but i dont know weather my cam is a 1 bolt or 3 bolt. My gear set however is a 3 bolt design. Could i use this with a single bolt cam or would that just mess something up?? Thanks

Havnt been insode the engine yet so honestly it might already have an aftermarket cam because the guy i got it from saod the last owner drag raced it, but he had no idea about anything done to the car.

If i need stiffer springs then its no peoblem to get some, the heads are very low milage though so i dont really know if ill need new ones. And as far as aplication, im building a street brawler that i can cruse around on the weekends and run it at the drag strip occasionally. 72' Duster w/73'...
