Should my 1974 Duster have a hood - to - radiator support gasket?

I also was wondering about these unused holes into my Demon hood underside. I have been lucky enough to find an used original rubber seal with clips, here on FABO. This is the kind of part that is often removed, but never reinstalled  The main purpose of this seal is to force the...

    Non A-body mopar question

According to many here it is too weak for even the 273. My 68 Darts rear end just failed and it's a 273 with auto and I never beat on the car even once. It just failed being driven normally down the street to work. I'm sure many of the rears did hold up though because many of these cars have...

    Non A-body mopar question

My question was what determined why some 66-67 coronets with a 318 and torqueflite got a 7 1/4" rear and why others with the exact same engine and trans got an 8 3/4" rear.

    Lifter failure

Yep. That is why you get a set of used factory lifters.......& get them re-faced to use with a new cam. Unless you want a second failure......

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

You really going to rely on 'Adv duration' numbers? The Chrys cam & the Pontiac cam have 225 & 224 @ 050. Their adv numbers are 284 & 301....... Or two Crane cams, both 273 @ 050, but 308 & 330 Adv duration.

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

Ant, Get DVs SB Chevy book, SA books #57. Money well spent. It has a couple of pages of cams, hyd & solids, FTs & rollers, from mild to wild, for various engine sizes. It gives LSA & duration for these cams & you will be able to make an INFORMED decision on a cam for your engine. I believe...

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

Yeah, the .050" thing was introduced just to kinda "level the playing field" and be able to compaer one to another. But when the wheel comes out, it's a different story.

    END LINKS

Just because that's what moog sent doesn't make it right. Moog is a hot mess and has been for at least a decade now, getting worse all the time. I think nowadays you're more likely to get a part from Moog that doesn't fit than actually get something that fits properly. The end links that...
