If SSBC turns out to be uncooperative, here's another vote for Rock Auto. Measure the diameter of the knurl, the length of it, and where it is located on the stud. I got mine there when I converted to all right hand thread on my 66, which is still SBP. They were maybe a buck or two apiece.

Correct, I had my hoods mixed up. My 65 hood has the paddle style release lever.

The release is a little round lever, right in the front. Then there's the usual secondary release. I'll go get some pics in a bit, it's actually not raining today so it's easy to get to.

Would a 65 Barracuda hood work?

It didn't for me. I took all the undercoat off my Dart using one. It's filthy, noisy, exhausting work, but it is effective. You will need a big compressor to run one.

This is what was on my 69 Dart when I brought it home. I think it's from a Torino or something similar Ford-based? I did remove it as it was non-functional just bolted to the uncut hood. Oddly, it's not all that repulsive.

I don't have any photos of a 63, but @Princess Valiant might be able to help. That unit is an aftermarket add-on deal. I'm real sure you are missing the original turn signal lever which should go in the column's little rectangular hole in your photo.

Well phooey. Had I heard about this sooner I could have made plans to attend. I could easy come up with a truckload of extra stuff I need to clear out. Maybe next year....

When I did my 66 Valiant, it was as described by @S'cuder above. I also unscrewed the heater control panel and pulled it part way out, which made for lots easier access to get the old speaker out and the new ones in.

A trick I learned when I moved to the Soggy North West, is air circulation. For several years my shop was a metal skin only, no insulation or internal siding. I set up a couple of box fans on timers to go off for a few hours a day in the warmest part of the afternoon. It kept the surface rust...

If you haven't dealt with this before, be sure to wear at least a painter's mask and gloves when cleaning up the bulk of this mess - it's nasty stuff and can hurt you. I would physically remove what can be seen, and it's a good idea to look around for more. I've found 2-3 nests in the same car...
