    Voltage limiter

I did the exact same mod on my '66 Barracuda except that I didn't take the fuel gauge apart (as in pulling the face plate) but instead, I drilled a hole in the gauge housing to get access to sterilizing the voltage limiter. I posted some photos here somewhere a couple of years ago. Test to see...

Selecting power valve method Holley 4160

@AJ/FormS @Mattax , the car runs great I ended up with 68/74 jets 10.5 PV, my thing now is it’s 90% but there’s a slight delay believe on the tip in when I mash the pedal, not a bog just a slow reaction to WOT for about a second or less. I installed a 35 Nozzle when I first got the carb, the...

also not an expert but we had a 55 ford truck with a c4 in it with the same thing happen. the band adjuster broke in half and it slacked the band off all the way and it was just sitting there slipping and doing nothing. considering it was an immediate failure could it be a possibility?

Just my 2 cents and not trying to be an *** but is that a hard line on the primer that has an edge? Not a good idea if it is. Blending the primer in is better than a hard line that could show up even after its been sanded.

    Slant Six Roadster Build

So I finished the cockpit cover a while back and really love how it turned out! I ended up waxing it to help make it more rigid and give it some water resistance. Had fun in April at South Mountain Raceway and made it through 3 rounds before losing to my friend who also drives a Slant powered...

Mine stuck on my 727 in my 74 charger. My first ever DIY rebuild, which I had to redo cause it stuck. But for me, it did the opposite, it banged the gears in HARD. So hard, it’d stall the car out

We could use better photos of all three. The shifter location and the output spline count would be important to know, along with any internal/external problems they might have. The silver one looks to have had the input shaft partially cut off. in '67 there were two versions. The 273 used one...

    Magnum and Wiring Swap

Well, I replaced the MAP sensor and set out to put some miles on the car. On the initial test drive in the neighborhood, it fumbled and backfired a bit then cleared up. It started running better so I decided to go further. My wife and I (because breakdowns are more fun with company) drove it...

Gov is a possibility too. I'd have to think or rather look up how that interplays. Did have the one in my heep come apart, and was able ot limp home home revving on low gear. Put a hole in the case too.
