Cost for labor on stroker build?

No sir, I believe that a set of cylinder heads for a sbm is around $2500 a set, is that pretty close? I can't afford most aftermarket heads I'm not saying that they aren't worth it

The Locktite for that application.....what is it I forget.....green? It's made to help RETAIN a press fit. It's not made to tighten up a loose fit......but I'm sure you know that.

Cost for labor on stroker build?

That’s a good question. He should go look up a set of NGK (4216) R0045q-10 plugs….. He would **** him self when he saw the invoice for a set of custom valves from Ferrea we just got, let’s just say a single valve is well over 100 bucks…

    What battery?

I am pretty sure NAPA has changed suppliers for their batteries, at least here in Canada, which is why I wouldn't go with them for another one.

    What battery?

I’ll second the Napa premium line. I use them in all of my diesel powered welders, generators, and work trucks as well as my own daily. Currently the one in my truck is from 2015 and still going strong. Although I did just hear that their battery brand has changed. I think to interstate or...

    What battery?

I have a NAPA battery in my Ventura that is over 15 years old, still works, but is getting noticeably weaker, a Costco battery in my Bronco that is about 5 years old and still good as new, an Interstate battery in wife's car, about 2 years old, and so far so good, my Thunderbird also has a...

Nice work! So you sectioned out the whole inner part of the door where the different brackets are located?

IMHO that’s too loose to “fix” it with loctite compounds. Check the tech specs if that’s how you want to proceed, they typically say how large a tolerance those compounds are meant to take care of. There are a lot of really impressive compounds out there, but they can be very specific to their...

F that noise. i wouldn't be trusting no magic goop to hold that mess. those would be going straight back with a strongly worded letter and new decent ones ordered up pronto.

Stolen A-Bodies From CA High Desert

it was a nice little find out there in a sea of crappy fast food. funny looks from the girls behind the counter aside, it was good food. i'd 100% stop by there again if in the area. and the gals can be forgiven cuz i looked like i'd been rolling around out in a ditch moving a body-- i'm...

Help converting my 64 to 66 23 Spline 8A33 to an overdrive ?

do you have a slip style yoke or is it B&T? that's number one. after that, i *guess* it can be done? the OD took a different main shaft which in turn took a different tail shaft, but maybe a slip style would work? a LOT less work and expense would probably be to source a compete OD box...

Thanks, just was fighting with some welds popping a few minutes after I welded them and it made some bumps and some of the area were really difficult to get a nice tight fit so it burned through a few times, other than that I'm happy, that just caused more work which was the unhappy part but it...

Not sure what you’re unhappy about, I think it looks great! You have a very nice looking driveshaft tunnel, especially considering it was all done by hand, don’t be so hard on yourself :)

    One of the first 340?

It's 68, the 2 digits you think are both sixes don't look alike. I've seen 67's posted on here.
