I have a floor shift column in my car, 72 Dart. The bottom part of the shaft that goes into the box coupler is round and looks to be welded into the steering column. Can I cut the weld and pull the round shaft out and weld dd shaft in its place?
The reason to ream taper is because I have the uca from firm feel already and don't want to buy another set. I am using the KH disc brakes that came on the car to bring the track width in narrower.
Can I use 1/4 inch spacers under the k member mounts to lower the k for header clearance? I have tti 17/8 headers and the draglink is touching at full left turn.
Does anyone near Hemidenny have a 15 x 7 rally wheel with 4.25 bs that he could test fit on his k frame. This is the size wheel I am using and would appreciate anyone that could offer the use of their wheel for this.

How about something like Magnumforce Racing offers except mounted under the inner fenders instead of in the engine compartment? Pretty much what you would do if you had a full cage with snout bars, except instead of being welded to a cage there would be a plate on the firewall?? ..
