    Gittin after it today... Pulled the BS Accel coil and some wiring, and the hinges. Had to cut a slot in the top of one of the battery tray bolts to use an impact on it. It was so rusty and tight, but it came apart. Believe it or not, was able to undo all of the lines from the proportioning...

    I always used an air cut off tool, very carefully around the studs to cut down the swedge. They come right off that way. With the new drum on, the wheel will hold it tight to the hub....

    My old partner and I bought it around 1984 at a machine shop show in Atlantic City. Paid 9k for it then. We used it in the Parts Store to turn drums, rotors and flywheels for customers until 2001, when I sold the Stores to Carquest. They didn't want it. Bought it from them for $200.....:lol:

    I still have a Heavy Duty Winona Van Norman machine over at my buddy's shop nearby. It is so HD that you could turn HD Truck drums on it with the dual wheels still attached.... :thumbsup:

When I came home I brang many of the older catalogs and catalog racks back to my house, including Filko ignition...

    That doesn't look so bad. When you run it, the belt will narrow some and move into the pulley further. You definitely don't want it running in the bottom of the pulley either.

    Mike, I have been doing the same thing for many years. Anytime I have a situation where the stock hose will not fit. I either went through the racks in my store to pick out one with the correct angles, or after I retired, I go right into the parts store and go to their hoses and pick out the one...

    Basically it is a return line , or vent...Like Fred said, you can put an extension hose on it and a filter and just keep it in the back of the car....
