    Oil filter adapter gasket location

I’m sure this has been posted somewhere before but I just bought an upgraded bolt that IS the correct length. I’ve read Mancini’s bolt is a tad too long and the head is not the same size as the crummy oe bolt. Fast Fish Auto from Kannapolis, NC makes these. He may even be a member here. Small...

    73 Duster build named Fred

@-Boosted- I think I got in on that Scamp ad too. I made a comment about Mike being a little overbearing. Got a nice little PM. I had to call out the injustice! Lol

Yes, I was going to mention that to the OP when the mention of Chevy pedestal rockers came up.

    SS roller rockers EQ heads

I have a NOS Magnum bare block with dealer stickers still on it. Someday I want to build it and, while years away, I routinely think about the direction the build should go. The cylinder head choice is something that internally debate. Edelbrock Magnum's or Edelbrock or TF LA? I think I'm going...

@TT5.9mag This begs the question, what is you preferred rocker to the Magnum head or do you go LA on a Magnum block?

    Radiator Suggestions

I too went with the 26”. Even if you have the small opening I would go with 26” anyway. My car is a 340/A833 so it has the big opening. I believe most manual V8’s, A/C cars, and /6 manual had the big openings. That’s not gospel truth but I think there was a hierarchy like that.

    Radiator Suggestions

22" Mopar SMALL BLOCK HD Aluminum Radiator I couldn’t be happier. The fact that ANY mopar fan shroud works with them means you don’t have to find a specific one to fit. I use a low profile fan clutch on mine and it has adequate room. I’ll be buying this brand from now on.

If you click that General Spring link it’ll make your wallet cry. I don’t know how they differ from the Eaton’s but the General Spring 120’s and 130’s are $174! That’s like 2018 prices!

Torsion and leaf. I forgot to mention I upgraded to the 1.03 from PST and would consider them the baseline of TB’s for modern radial tires. If you are using a 14” wheel or a skinny front tire (drag or cruiser) then sub-1” bars would be sufficient but if you have a 15” wheel with say, 225/60-15...

I just replaced my KYB Gas Adjust shocks. They were sufficient for a cruiser but I wanted a high performance shock son I put some Hotchkis Fox shocks on. I will be upgrading the factory sway bar and getting new leafs when I do my 8-3/4 soon. Here’s my take on shocks after having used all of...

plastic exhaust manifold trays 273 drivers exhaust manifold

I have a set that I believe came off of a 318. At least I pulled them from a 318. Maybe they weren’t original to the engine. I recall that mine look a little different than the ones pictured. I’ll get some pics when I get home. How many versions are there?

How would you rebuild this 318?

.468. 224/[email protected], SFT. Low compression ‘73 340, stock bore, 273 rockers, stock heads/manifolds, LD340 intake. I would like to optimize the iron heads and use a different piston and head gasket. It’s my cruiser so I don’t want to tear it down yet.

How would you rebuild this 318?

I like my cam (222/224 @.050, irc) but the 1:1 on my 3.21 rear gear is just not quite doing it for interstate travel. With the OD I’ll be able to be comfortable with the posted 75 mph interstates. I can also cruise 1st gear in parking lots without lurching!

    D100 rearend in A body

I have seen the 8-3/4 rear in 4x4’s and not in 5x4.5” bolt circle. I forget but it akin to 5x5 or bigger. Plenty of c-body cores for cutting.
