    Power steering pump question

Thanks That is the exact same brace that came factory on the '89 truck with power steering. There must be a lot of flex force there. Even on the '89 the long arm of the brace severed right there at that elongated hole at the core support. I drilled a 3/8" hole on the good part and bolted it...

    Battery shorting killed all power

I have a 1975 slant six Dart I was doing work on. I attached the negative terminal and while I was tightening the positive terminal my wrench hit the metal battery bracket, shorting out. Now my car has no power anywhere. Everything in the engine bay is okay; battery, starter relay, fusible...

The ship my uncle was stationed on at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941

With Flag Day tomorrow, I was pleased to see this today... MSN My uncle was on board the U.S.S. West Virginia at the time of the attack but survived after swimming under burning oil on the water surface. Although he and my aunt had a beautiful swimming pool in their backyard he could never go...

    Stripping methods?

I have done cars both ways. The blasted car. Before blast I scraped the underside under coating off, cleaned engine bay with heated pressure washer, prior to blast. Then blasted those areas, plus inner fenders, trunk, inside cabin Blasted cleaned and epoxy coated with PPG DP PRIMERS. Then used...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ray I drove semi for 3 years delivering organic and fake meat to 500 costumers on my route from Oregon to Minnesota. Long story short I'd be eating a tweaky sipping on coffee and smoking a cigarette offloading organic food to costumers once a month. I got nothing but **** from all the women...

    Stripping methods?

I'm not really sure, I haven't had issues with whatever the factory used back in the day.. haven't dealt with newer fillers, or thicker layers, I just dropped the stuff off and picked it up nice and clean.

    My Western Sport Special

Time to do some updating on my Western Sport Special with the tribute to the Mod Top option. Been tempted with Holley’s Sniper injection system but somewhat reluctant because of price. When they started they started with yearend sales I popped for one.

Where can I buy a reliable remanufactured 318 for 1971 Duster?

at tree-fiddy you can barely get shops out here to give you the time of day, that's hella cheap. all kidding aside, i think you *might* be able to get a block tanked, mag'd, spec'd and maybe a hone on the cyls for that kinda dough. maybe. heads would easily be that or more for a skim, mag and...

Where can I buy a reliable remanufactured 318 for 1971 Duster?

Yea your right. I posted a little quick. But I can promise you I'm not lying about the machine work costs that I paid. Idk how much they charge out west but I had the block and heads cleaned, the heads milled and the block bored. I paid 350 bucks. I did all the disassembly and reassembly myself...

    First Drag strip visit

My first trip to a drag strip was in 1975 when a few friends and I went to US-131 Drag Way in Martin, MI. Never raced my cars and likely never will but I do enjoy drag racing above all other motor sports.
