The last picture shows a vin tag on the door jamb and that was a 67 thing. 68 should have the vin tag on the dash. Is there another vin on the top of the dash??

I notice some odd badging here.
The first four digits of the vin number will be LH23 if it's a swinger or the first four of the vin number will be LL23 if it's a swinger special.
what does the "U-code" mean? there is no "U-code" in 68. A real 383 car would be referred to as an "H-code", but I am not sure what a 68 U-code would be for??? Can you clarify?
this car is in another thread and the vin really is a P but its a 360 car ........I almost want it now just because. It has to be a factory goof ....the vin has a P but the fender tag has an L

its cobbled up with a lot of different parts. I guess survivor these days means wrong dash with a 75/6 cluster....a steering wheel that was not available in these cars. Changed out front seat. Supposed to be a 70 but has a 71+ side stripe. Don't you just love how the wiper motor was just...
