    Stripping methods?

100 % agree with this as someone who just got his car back after 6 years in two different body shop jails. Visit both shops you are considering and take a good look around. If either are disorganized, messy, ect. then DO NOT leave your car there. If you see cars there that are pretty dusty...

    Vent window metal question?

Is the vent window frame/legs aluminum? Have some welding to do but my skills are basic and I don’t think my MIG will weld aluminum.

    INNER DOOR MYSTERIES REVEALED!!

Once they moved the door stem lock forward in 69 you would have an additional swivel with two rods attached at this u-support pictured below. One rod goes up to the stem lock hole, another runs parallel to the long door hinge rod in the pic and attaches right near it at the latch mech.

    INNER DOOR MYSTERIES REVEALED!!

Hello All, Continuing the transfer of internal door and glass parts from my old 67 doors to my replacement doors and thought I would post some more cut-away pics that might help others out in the future.

    Demon door?? Which others fit?

Roger that. I think I have 69-72 doors then, due to my stem lock placement and the absence of rectangular slots and clips where the arm rest attaches. I’ve seen those slots in 69 doors so I’m actually prob 70-72. Thanks for the pic. It’s been a real pain sourcing new door internals, ect. The...

    Demon door?? Which others fit?

Grant, do you have pics available of your 70 and 71 Dart doors without the door panels on? I’m trying to nail down the year/years of my 67 Darts replacement doors. The originals were too far gone. Here is a pic of the replacement drivers side..,.

Need help, broken driver window piece 69 Dart

It’s one part of a two part piece that holds the main door window to the bottom bracket. The blue bit at the bottom of the window in the pic. They are available as part of a set or B3422 is right, you can get just individually.

    Question about splash shields

Also as an FYI, a repo set of the shield- to-car fasteners is also available. 4 of the screws with washers for the big round holes and two bolts for the upper and mid attachment points. Description says for plastic shields but those are exactly what my metal ones use as well.
  24. Troub

    Question about splash shields

Not sure when they switched to plastic, The classic industries repo set doesn’t specify if it’s metal or plastic.

    Finally!

Yeah it is! Just a few easy things today. Received the splash shield gaskets from DMT so figured I would attach those. Fit right on. Ive never received a bad product from them. First rate every time. Went and ahead and attached the front bumper brackets too. They have a few rust spots showing...

    Finally!

While I’m waiting on some door window assembly bits, I’m tackling the rear quarter windows. I wasn’t the one who removed them so having no frame of reference is always fun. I think I have the mock up correct.
