    Spare tire pic ?

This is a pretty old thread, and looking at my pics, the wing nut, which you are referring to, should be smaller than the one I have. I'm going to be on the hunt for the correct one. Having said that, put a parts wanted thread here, or search the internet.

It's no wonder the Slant 6 is so great!

Its reliability is its greatest asset. And it makes a hell of a boat anchor.

318 pulley mistake, need the correct size.

There are 2 different water pumps. 6 Vane = A/C pump (smaller pulley) 8 Vane = Non A/C pump (standard pulley)

    NGK spark plugs breaking.

That is the recommended longer plug, to get the plug closer to the combustion area. Unless you have shaved your cylinder head an exuberant amount, hitting the piston isn't the problem. If you were hitting pistons, you would know it. My recommendation would be to thoroughly inspect the plug...

    F**K YOU TAIWANESE/CHINESE MADE JUNK

And yet, you are still going to use that piece of s*** Chinese chrome housing. You know there are real quality options out there.

    F**K YOU TAIWANESE/CHINESE MADE JUNK

Your problem starts with the chrome t-stat housings, everybody knows they are junk. OE housings are the way to go. No trimming, grinding, 3 pages of shenanigans. Bolt on and go.

Not sure if you are building a numbers matching type car, but if you are not, I would go for the 70-71 340 valve covers.

Oh yah. Here's a 2008 catalogue, with Chrysler, Chevrolet, Ford all packed into it. These catalogues were so valuable, because for example if you were buying a cam, they would give you the recommended stall converter, and gears. They really come in handy. The Mopar catalogue is like gold to me...

Still got mine, consider it the bible for Mopar parts. I use to drive 1/2hr to the store in Chatsworth to pick up parts. The store was awesome. Intakes, cams, headers, complete engines, all at your fingertips. Those were the glory days of hot rodding.

    RIP Jerry West

Lifelong Laker fan here. Huge loss for the Laker faithful. "Mr. Clutch" is the nickname he was given. They also call him "The Logo", because of the NBA logo is supposed to be him. Jerry played alongside greats like Wilt Chamberlin, Elgin Baylor, Gail Goodrich, Happy Hairston to name a few. Led...
