    Stroke a 318

Do your homework and get prices for everything. It might be easier and cheaper to just get an engine from Blueprint or another builder of your choice. It'll save time too. Just throwing it out there.

I have no patience, so I'd go with the cam that is available right now... especially if the differences are minimal. I'm sure either one will be fine....my $.02

I'd be worried about the machine shop not turning your block around quickly... I know for me; I'd get burned and I wouldn't get the block back till September  I hope for your sake that they are quick!!

Agreed but it usually breaks things when it hooks. Thats when all the weak links are found.

Poll for Minimum Torque for a performance street Machine?

Imagine with decent heads what that would do...

Poll for Minimum Torque for a performance street Machine?

Trust me, it's a disease. You'll always want more... but take my advice... There will always be someone faster, so be happy with what you have. It will get expensive...quick

Poll for Minimum Torque for a performance street Machine?

I voted the max... You will never have enough

    SB vs BB who wins?

When it comes down to it, I like the ease of working on the car... an "A" body is easier to work on if it has a small block (or /6... even easier). A "B" body is WAY easier if it had a small block, but I would prefer that it had a big block. Just my opinion and preference.

    SB vs BB who wins?

    same!!
  27. 85glht

    SB vs BB who wins?

I believe that the small block heads have the valves at the centerline of the cylinder bore vs. the big blocks... less valve shrouding... Also money comes to play... the more you have to spend the faster you will go

    SB vs BB who wins?

The one with the better cylinder heads wins. JMO
