A-body armrest - stripped threads in door’s sheet metal

I think if he uses a 10-24 rivnut then a 10-24 machine screw maybe apply a bit of never seize or grease for a easy start, should work. And won't keep coming loose.

And..... A smaller carb will not fix your problem & would be a bad move considering the whole combo. What you have is a tuning problem, not a carb size problem....

...into the workshop one day with a big smile; he changed one POS Holley for another & doubled his mileage! Yep, went from 2 to 4 miles per gallon. 10* initial timing is nowhere near enough with that combo. And if you are not using vac adv, that is only making it worse. Worse, because the...

A-body armrest - stripped threads in door’s sheet metal

Might not work in this situation. But I like them! The sheet metal is basically vertical but the screw goes in at a steep angle.

I saw my first Tesla truck today.

I can't help but think that THOSE that buy and drive these electric turds are absolutely doing it to appear cutting edge or sensitive to the environment. I suspect the owners may rate HIGH on the test in this thread: Are you a narcissist?

    Phone SIM card

What part of the country? Coverage varies, as does the provider with the most coverage. My only experience with prepaid has been Verizon and t-mobile. Both have worked well, Verizon has more coverage and faster. For a truly "unlimited" deal you can expect to pay more but the basic prepaid plans...

The Maestro has spoken Mopar official is my friend that has helped me through out this whole build. He is a testament to how bad *** the 64whiteghost is and a major reason as to the power I have gotten. Thanks brotha ! Look forward to learning more and getting her dialed in more

'63 Valiant V200 wagon - heater blower removal

THe whole box must be removed. There's no gulp involved. It's a 15 minute job to remove the box with hand tools. Unless it has A/C then it's "a little" more involved. THere are the four nuts under the hood around the motor, two hoses, one or two fasteners inside and three cables to remove. A...

A-body armrest - stripped threads in door’s sheet metal

Rivnuts! So easy to use, you can use a tool like a rivet gun but even simpler is the one in the picture, just load the rivnut in the collet, hold with a wrench and tighten with a drill or impact gun or even just a wrench and allen key, SO simple I keep a kit with several sizes on hand you can...

    Oil dipstick full mark

The question as you asked has no answer, as there are several different dipstick lengths, dipstick tube lengths and oil pans, so what someone comes up with here, will probably not be correct for you. Your best bet is to do an oil change as suggested, add the proper amount of oil for whatever...

    Tornados

I hear you. I know they have our safety at heart. Don't get me wrong, I am just saying that over time, people will get to the point where they may disregard the tornado sirens when the last 50 times they went off, there were no actual tornados. I am very familiar with doppler radar. I am a...
