    OzyDuster74 chassis connector questions!!

if you mean where the cable goes through the torsion bar crossmember, i redrilled the crossmember so the cable runs 'inside' (nearer the tunnel) where the frame connectors mount. if that's not what you meant ignore me. lol. neil.

Great looking project there! My booster. Had a Plymouth decal on it, so it’s definitely a factory built part

A-body armrest - stripped threads in door’s sheet metal

Unfortunately, the armrest base does not use a machine screw, and, the hole is at an angle. Welding /attaching a nut won't work either as it will lay flat . I ran into this problem on my 68 Barracuda. Why Plymouth just didn't use clips like Dana67 Dart showed in his post is beyond me. The...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Ya. I’m learning that things were done a lot differently back when these cars were built. Lol. Even when I was looking over the build part way through and pointing out a few little defects that I wanted addressed. The builder said that these cars were never built perfectly from the factory. Then...

Chrysler 300 seats in a Duster

Back seats are in for good. They are a 2 piece seat since in the 300 they fold down in 2 different sections so I used a couple pieces of 1/8" x 3/4" aluminum flat stock at 4' long to hold them together. These pieces also hang the seats from the stock upper hangers and bolt them to the rear fire...

    Full new wiring harness?

I’d pay for a factory wiring harness if it was me M&H. For a aftermarket one I’d do the American auto wire. Dustin

    black out behind Duster grill

What color is your car? Radiator support black out was supposed to happen to all colors. Occasionally a light color didn't get coated. Some (not all) black or extremely dark colors got coated an some didn't. The original material was a thinned down undercoating material sprayed through a nozzle...

    Full new wiring harness?

couple of choices. either a M&H from year one, best stock style harness and you'll just have to modify it to eliminate they things you don't want. or the classic update from american auto wire.. not cheap but its the best on the market. Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body .

    Full new wiring harness?

Regarding 1 wire ballast, unless you change ignition, you'll need 2 wires for ballast and coil.
