Anyone w/ Billet Specialties Street Lites

Thank you. What tires do you run up front? Maybe the early Valiants and Barracudas had less room for a rear tire than the early Darts. The 315/60/15 drag radials fit like a glove in my '66 Dart.

    Gen3 hemi tkx swap

That's a big difference. The Quick Time probably has a thicker engine plate where the aluminum bell has a thinner one also. A thicker flywheel would help disk but not pilot. And I would think that's not an option. It's the adapter flywheel not OEM right?

    Another 318 set up

Dude, 273 and I chatted about it here, he made some good points that I quoted, so go read that, because I'm not in the mood now from dealing with my grandmother's basement flooding with sewer water which is why my responses are meh. I'm tired, have goodnight.

    Not Mine 1966 Formula S 4spd CA

My point was that a really nice one sells for $20-25K max. A non runner for half that doesn’t make much sense to me. Not that it is not a cool car, but there is a very small market for them. Maybe I am an out of touch with prices, but that looks like a $5K car to me. Just an opinion….

Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

Firm Fell sells new for like 300. The fact is, sometimes you don't need one. I did a 360 swap in a 65 slant 6 Valiant years ago and retained the slant 6 center link. It was close, but it didn't hit.
  17. Professor Fate

Help! I need to identify my upper control arms please! 70 dart.

OP has Kelsey-Hayes SBP discs, so standard small ball joint UCAs. Being a slant 6 has no bearing on the fact that it has disc brakes, they were an option available with any engine. Don't know of anybody offering new or repro small ball joint upper control arms, so a wanted ad would be your best...

    What gets a car moving?

Fyi, horsepower exists only as a calculated number, from torque (which is what is actually measured) and RPM.

Real Estate agents....can u explain land transfer tax?

Bad enuf with over inflated real estate prices, I need a garage extension and the permits, fees, taxes, material it's ridiculous. I bet I'll be $25-30k adding 3-400 sq ft. So we look for "something else" and the LTF is out to fn lunch. Let alone the house price.

Real Estate agents....can u explain land transfer tax?

Well for what it’s worth, the combine percent of taxes that Sam Adams, John Hancock and others started to rebel against in the 1760s that eventually led to the full revolution in 1776, was a combined 3 percent. Considering most of us have to work 4 months out of every year just to pay our...

What cam to use in a 318

Sir, I don't mean to sound disrespectful but read what I said and you'll see that I was asking if it's to much cam for the 318 that's being discussed that has a 9.2:1 CR. I didn't mean or say that it's too much cam.
