rocker shafts installed backwards... long read. but pics!

He'd need pushrods made for oiling too, and I'm pretty sure you'd need modified rockers for that to work too else you'd only be oiling the top of the pushrod against the cup in the rocker. The concern about the oil holes in the shafts is about oil between the rocker and the shaft.

    73 Duster build named Fred

OK I didn't realize that. Yes, if he's gotta get his tuned-up, he should aim higher in stall. I'm not sure that'll get him into the 9's but I'd guess the weight being just over 2800? so if there's 575HP somewhere it can get there. If over 2900 then he might need more parts.

I pretty much gave up when they stopped being "Stock Cars". All they are now is spec racers, doesn't matter who's emblem is on the hood.

So, here's my story...I am in the process of doing my second gauge cluster overhaul/upgrade using parts from AMS Obsolete (a.k.a Charger Specialties, AMS purchased CS back in 2020). This time I am working on my '71 Duster 340 4-speed. The first time around was in my '67 Barracuda Fastback...

Yes, lower flash rpm and slower times. Seemed to like it more the higher I went. I’m going to try a 4000 chip next time out. Really need to get the right converter in the car but until then, I’ll do whatever it takes to make it run a number

    3" Dynomax Ultraflow Carnage

With those being straight header mufflers (they look like anyway), wonder if the pulses out and back in are hard on them? They have no support inside so if the engine's exhaust is pounding hard, the negative can happen too? They are not very thick wall but man, I am not sure.

What state has county income taxes? I've never heard of that. Anywhere I've lived, the county gets your real estate taxes.

Took 6 weeks to get Manley 2.08 and 1.60 valves, keepers, LS springs (ya I didn’t stutter), spring locators, and valve locks. Well 5/16 locks came instead of 11/32. Took somewhere around 3 months to get this right minus -040 or -.050 pac 11/32 keepers needed with this spring to get the required...
