    I have a vac advance distributor I'll bring for fun, I'll have to shorten the slots 1st. I'll be check plugs for spark lines placement just at the bend on both ends. The carb is my main concern. The plugs were black when it had 65's in it to begin with... so I'll be into that pos top of the list.

    I'm heading to his place to tune the carb sat or sunday... and will change the adv bushing ,increase the initial timing by 10 degrees and then see what it gets. If anyone in the area wants to come with and see what I'm doing, message me.

    rocker shafts installed backwards... long read. but pics!

    You want the oiling holes facing down towards the springs. Notch or no notch. Not having them the right way will wear the rocker,shafts, stems more than necessary. Remember... of they were to point straight down.. yoy could put them on anyway ya wanted. They point down towards the springs.

    I thought it was 12 and 34. The carb isn't right yet, may be the wrong carb 'not size' for the aspirations of decent mpg, but it still needs to be jetted down and driven hwy speeds..reducing the primary jet size until it surges, then go back up 2 jet sizes. Next dial in the secondary jets within...

    If you leave them in... they get soft. I did that once, figured it out and put the brass plugs back in.

    As others said, 750 cfm. Brand ? I like holley and quickfuel I don't like the avengers because they are calibrated lean. The 670 for instance, a 650 classic dp would be better... You need the 770 to compensate for lack of a 700 or 750 dp..and even then..

    You mean... gear drive vs timing chain? The timing variance from stretch is zilch with a gear drive. You can hear them more though they make loud and quieter versions.

    Before changing bleeds and emulsions... did you simply try adjusting the 4 idle mix screws about 3/4 out? Is the power valve correct?? One jet size up ? Simple stuff first

    If pump gas which I'm not sure that is at 11 to 1.3but maybe with that cam it'll work fine, I probably go like one step colder than stock maybe even stock, it depends on the tune. But there really is no special plug for a stroker as others have said

    This guy could have a set of induction hard and shafts on there that are 3/8 thick wall and not even need the center stand clamp force with the kind of spring he'll probably use. What's this for? I'm doubting these heads will be used for any kind of serious effort so replacing them is washy

    I would Mount that on my 1960s Craftsman that has a an adjustable tilt swivel table and not Mill a damn thing I would simply line the bit up with the existing piece after I had it mounted and dial it close enough to get a ******* stud in it LOL

    I agree but we're talking $60,000, kind of something like those guys did when they threw NASCAR / p7 or greater in back in the 90's. It's sad 15,000 grand can't snatch a 1000 na hp, really sad. We can just turbo the old ****, 440 for instance , and be ahead money wise... and then buy $$$$ Billet...
