    Another 318 set up

I don’t “focus” on any number. Do you recall what started this? Dan posted what he thinks will make a bunch of for his engine. It’s dead wrong. Not a thing he posted would do a damn thing to increase torque. Evidently, Dan thinks like you do. That he needs to “fun” size everything to hunt down...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Ok. Thanks a lot. I will tell him that! He said that I can do it when I do the first oil change, but another person on here was saying that he doesn’t think the exhaust will even be able to be hooked up in the location it’s currently in

MegaSquirt (MS3) or Holley HP EFI

I’m in the planning stages of a drag and drive car for myself currently as well, and I’ll be using a turbo magnum 5.9 with a tremec T56 magnum. But mine will be blow through carbureted. I’d suggest narrowing down the hard parts of the build plan (engine, trans, diff) then decide on electronics...

I didn't start anything. It's not my fault because some people will argue with a rock. Maybe you don't understand the principles of torque and horsepower yourself

Shop needs to run the bolt out of the center of the 90 degree oil filter housing, pull housing off engine, then reinstall facing rear ward. I would order a new seal gasket kit cause builder may have skimmed RTV on gasket.

New rallye dash replacement gauges/tachs (some insider news from the supplier)

I would be tempted to cancel it and look around. Other suppliers will have one. Classic is known for exorbitant shipping and back orders.

What cam to use in a 318

All my old Chilton manuals said the 70s and earlier 80s 318s were 8.6:1 and 360s were "advertised" as 8.2- 8.4 but then in the 80s some of the 360s were advertised as actually being below 8:1, the heavy duty ones in 1 ton trucks and such being listed amongst the lowest. I wonder then if the...

Did I claim that a car with way more torque will be faster than a car of the same weight with less torque and way more hp? NO! I did not. It seems to me that you are focusing on peak number or you think that I am, IDK. Maybe you don't understand that I get it and you just keep telling me I'm...

Thanks for this information. I’ve been waiting for a back-ordered aftermarket tachometer from Classic Industries for my ‘67 Barracuda for a few months now and they can’t provide any estimate of when they might ship it.

Wow. Really? I’ll post a pic of the kind that the engine builder sold me. See if it’s proper. I’m sure it will say zinc on it, if it’s the right one then. Thanks!
