    Thermoquad jetting help?

I'm hoping somebody out there can make a recommendation on what size primary jets, metering rods, and secondary jets I should try (start with). I have a 9022 S Thermoquad that I want to rebuild for my 318 four-speed Dart. This carb was originally on a 1974 360 truck engine with automatic...

    Valve Lash Adjustment Interval?

Does anyone know what Chrysler's recommendation was for valve adjustment intervals on the early small block engines with solid-lifter cams? I re-adjusted the valve lash on my 318 solid-lifter engine this weekend (just for fun) after running it the first 4,000 miles or so, and found them to not...

    Can you identify these?

OK, I know, I should have taken better notes, or more pics . . . or both. I took the car (1967 Dart 270 two door hardtop) apart four years ago, and I've slept since then. Fortunately, I remembered where enough of the parts went to successfully get most of the car appropriately rebuilt...

    Dart windshield seal info needed

Can someone explain the difference to me between the '67 Dart windshield seal and the '68? When I found it sitting out in the desert, my '67 had only a rubber seal in it, with no trim - no stainless moldings, and no press-in lock strip. The drive train is completed, body & paint work all done...

    shift boot

Yikes! When I started this project 3 1/2 years ago. I remember seeing shifter boots and bezels for $20 to $30. I spent so much time researching and collecting parts for the brakes, drive train, suspension, etc., I figured "shifter boot ! ? I can get one o' those later. It's just a rubber piece."...

    heater cable clips anyone?

Anyone know of a source for the retainer clips for the heater control cables? I'm sure the same ones used on my '67 Dart were used on numerous other models. I'm sure I could find one (only missing one) in the salvage yards, but if anyone sells them new, I'd rather locate a couple of spares. Thanks.

    camshaft break-in

Does anybody out there have any experience to share regarding breaking-in new Comp Cams - or other brands? I've rebuilt a lot of engines, but almost all in European cars. Many of the European engines have had double valve springs. I've built a few American V-8s, but this is the first I've built...

    Medium Turquoise KK1

Anybody have any good digitals or examples of cars with this color paint? All the metal work is done, and my '67 Dart is ready for paint. The original color was KK1, medium turquoise. When I found the car it had been sitting out in the desert for 20 years, it was so faded, I can't really tell...

    baffled over intakes . . .

I'm out of my comfort zone here. I've built lots of European engines with multiple carb systems, mechanical and electronic injection, etc. None of that experience is helping me here. I'm building a 318 for a '67 Dart. 9.7:1 compression, .464 lift, 270 mechanical lifter cam, 318 heads with 1.88...
