    I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 1971 340 motor, the seller has it listed as "*Motor is cast in 70 but marked as a 71 block" . So I what exactly does that mean. I want to installed it on a 1971 Demon. Thanks.

    Good afternoon; I have a 1971 H code 340 4 speed Demon, all original execept it has a 1969 stock 340 motor. My question is would it be worth looking for a 1971 340 knowing its still will not be numbers matching but correct year or leave it with the 69 motor.? Thank you.

    small bolt pattern to big bolt pattern

    1971 Demon 340 4 speed, no power brakes drums all around, want to convert to big bolt pattern and stay with drum brakes. What is involved and where is the best places to get the parts...salage yards, auto parts etc. Thank you. El Diablo.

    seat belts

    Looking for the front bucket seat belt buckles for a 1971 Demon, the ones in the back seat have a number 600-1 stamp on the metal, don't have a the label on the fabric, color is balck. Any one selling a set of them let me know?? Thank you.:blob:

    Rear end oil.

    getting ready to swap center section on my 71-340 Demon, going from 3:91 to 3:23 sure grip. I have decided to use synthetic but not sure on the viscosity, 85W140 OR 75W90, the car is stock and I live Georgia. Any suggestions??? I will add a bottle of the sure grip additive. Thank you.

    rear spoiler

    trying to remove the rear spoiler on my 71 Demon, i remonved the thru bolts that attaches it to the brackets, don't want to force it bit it is not pulling off, do i need to remove the hinges from the wing?

    Rear wing.

    my 1971 Demon has the rear wing, when I bought the car the wing is slightly bowed almost like if it has been pushed on to close the trunk for a while. Is there a way to straighten the wing? Thank you

    ead light/ dash dimmer switch.

    looking for a head light / dash dimmer switch for a 1971 340 demon. When i turned it it seems to just work on a small band of travel, barely can see the dash lights. :burnout: Thank you

    Dim dash lights.

    Used to have a 1970 340 Cuda, always noticed that the dash lights were very dim even after turning the light switch to full bright; also the driving lights would dim in idle, now to the present, my 1971 340 Demon does the same thing....any suggestions , thoughts ????:banghead:

    Ujoint

    need help.... I'm changing my center section on my Demon, the new carrier has a 7960 yoke and the my drive shaft is a 7260, do the combination ujoint come shyaft??? yoke on the inner grooves for the grooves or do I need to change the shaft. Thank you

    Combination U joint.

    I'm thinking of using a combination U-joint, I'm changing center sections and I don't want to take a part the one in the car right now, I have a 489 case but a the pinion is a 10 spline, my repalcement case is also a 489 case but it has a 29 spline pinion, the yoke on the car now is the smaller...
