    exhaust system pcv?

I have that same setup; I installed mine in the collector on a set of Dougs D450 headers. I have always found that you would need to install them IN the collector. I am running Borla mufflers dumped at the axle, and an X pipe, all mandrel bent 2 ½ system. At idle, there was a MASSIVE vacuum on...

    Solid mounts or not?

I agree with Mad Dart, solids are not bad at all. I run solids on my SB stroker, I love them, I will probably never switch back, even if I have a mild motor.

    FMJ spindles > POLL

I have FMJ's on my 64 Valiant and I have no problems. I have 14 inch ralley wheels with radials, and i have ran 3 inch skinnies and have had no problems from 80 mph on the freeway to what little cornering my non sway bar car can do, all the way to hard wheels up launches at the track. I vote use...

    Header coatings, how necessary?

My idler arm, pitman and trans shift cable are very close to my headers. I have not had any problems out of them, but I have always had the ceramic coated headers. I could see how an un-coated pipe would cause problems.

    Header coatings, how necessary?

I have the Doug's ceramic coated headers on my Valiant and I love them. I have been running these headers for about five years now, and the finish has dulled a little, but that was in the first few months and has not progressed any more. they greatly help with under hood temps as well.

my new tunnel ram is on the stroker

It is an animal!! I have about a 3800 stall in it, and 3:55 gears. I have not had it to the track with the tunnel ram, but with an Eddy airgap and a Holley 830 dp, it trapped at 121mph, I don't remember my E.T. though. I hope this year to get to a 10:90! But the car pulls VERY hard with the t ram

my new tunnel ram is on the stroker

Correct, manual valve body. There was another little block that came with the bracket that was intended to mount just under where the throttle cable mount went, so yes, it did have provisions for a kickdown. I do not know the manufacturer of this bracket, but it is the same type you can get from...

my new tunnel ram is on the stroker

The throttle pedal was out of a early 80's dodge car, the throttle cable is the cheapo at Autozone. The return spring bracket is a no-name piece picked up at a local swap. the actual linkage hooking the two carbs together is a Mr Gasket setup.
