    Possibly. You need cast #2806081 or #2465523 bell housings for a 9.5" clutch generally for the Hemi 265.

    Hi Chris, Haven't got round to it yet but going with a 273 SB bell housing instead and will weld on the bottom ears for the dowels and holes. Much better option i think.

    Hi guys, I saw a post where a trans shop said they sometimes convert flex plates to accept a clutch. His reasoning was that the flex plate is lighter than a flywheel and can support 500-1000hp on his conversions. Anyone have any knowledge of this kind of conversion? Thanks

    From what I've read it should be front plate, mid plate and poly/rubber trans mount There reason is I have a custom tubular coil over suspension and the mounts for the hemi 265 as an upright are not great. I already tore a stock one ages ago and they only have a two bolt mount.

    I'm building a full turbo street 6 cylinder and I;'d prefer to use a motor plate setup. My engine is a Hemi 265 so it's upright but I'd like to know if anyone runs a /6 with a front and mid plate on street? There are so many opinions about whether it's ok or not. Let me know guys. Thanks, Brett
