Yea I am keeping the original radio in the dash and hide a new CD player in the glovebox so I am going to use the power to the old radio unless that's a bad idea

well the only things that works right now is the horn haha, if the weather is nice tomorrow I will mess with it some more, but what you guys are saying is that without that ammeter hooked up the engine won't crank and there will be no power to the radio, is that correct? Thank you again, I know...

I recently put an original radio back in my dash and all I did was remove the glovebox liner and finagled it over behind the dash. Took some time and monuvering(sp) but eventually got it where I needed it probably not the best way but it worked.

I agree, I have had about eight surgury's and i have had a spinal tap, and I have been knocked out, give me the gas everytime, the only downside to lights out is your grogy for a while after, jmo but knock me out please, good luck either way
