Hey looking for opinions on gasket brands. I've have a leak issue with my 73 Scamp. Pulled windshield and dash resonantly to remedy this. I have used Precision gaskets in the past but they seem to be small and stretched out in the corners. Any other brands recommended.

Hey I have a 72 Demon with the full Phoenix graphics package in matte black. When waxing should it be avoided or just wax right over it. Made the mistake of waxing over flat black in my youth and it was a bugger to get off.

So a 1/4" rotational play on the yoke is normal. Glad i didn't tear it apart. Thanks

Hi does anyone know if lash can be measured at the wheel stud or pinion flange. I thought mine felt sloppy when I took the drive shaft out. Measured on a wheel stud. .023 Thanks Jeff

Thanks for the reply's. The 340 and one of the teens has the 650 eddy. The other teen has the 390 holley. All three motors do the same thing and the only thing common to all is the ignition system. The issue is at idle or slow cruise is is seems to die for a split second. I have re-gapped spark...

Hi I have 2 318's Scamp and Aspen also a 340 Demon. All with Mopar performance ignition. All 3 have a low rpm or idle stumble. All have different carbs. Spark plugs on the black side so lean is not the issue. At the moment I am increasing plug gap on 340 from .35 to .45. Anyone else experience this.

I think energy suspension supplies P-S-T with these kits same part number.

No my strut rods didn't have a sleeve, they came with bushings without then they would fit very sloppy. I checked my 73 and it has a larger thread size haven't taken it apart yet to check shaft diameter.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to give it a shot and will take some pics. The P-S-T replacement bushings have a sleeve that will cover the worn spot. I assume they also fit the larger size strut rod that I think they changed to after 72. I'll know better When I do my 73 Scamp.

I am doing front suspension bushings in my 72 Demon and found front of strut rod has a grove worn in it from rubbing on K frame. Was thinking of migging and grinding for repair. Has anyone tried this before or would it weaken it. Thanks Jeff

If anyone has there car available to see if when the steering is centered is the ball stud directly behind steering shaft or offset to right side. Thanks Jeff

Yes I checked it can only fit one way.

Hey all who read this Having issue with my 72 Demon. I have a 2537349 manual steering box, new pitman arm which I checked same as one I removed. I centered box installed arm and it is offset to right. I have to have tie rod ends all the way in on one side and out on other to get wheels straight...

Thanks again I have never seen a ring to hold down boot to floor for sale anywhere but make sense boot has 8 holes and trim has 4. As for getting old what are we talking about again hmmm. Oh ya and as for reverse it is where 1st is on a 4sd make that mistake and drop the clutch poor bugger...

Hi All I have a 3spd floor shift manual trans in my Demon. The shifter doesn't line up properly in the hump. Boot will not go on. Is there a shim to move shifter to the left to center it. Also does the boot mount to the floor under carpet. thanks, Jeff

That is perfect other than there is only one dbl* but that could be tied in up stream. Going to look closer to mymopar wiring diagrams just to see where gy lead goes and original br/y* thats not used. Should just be able to to finish it off and move on. Thanks for all the help Jeff

Well the blue lead off the relay goes to the brake fuse can't see where the gray lead goes. Not to the brake light switch or the wires broken in the harness. Maybe it turns on warning light if the fuse blows.

It is all factory had to pull the goo and hockey tape off it. This car did have seat belt sensors in the seats.

Messed that up a bit. The brown lead goes to relay, the plug in wire goes to to harness and rings out to dash and brake balancer and the other to e-brake. The only thing I can see its for is back feed off relay. hmmmm

I call it a resistor/diode because it ohms out open in one direction and has resistance in the other. I will try and get pic after work.
